Xernona Clayton received an award from the National Federation of Black Women Business Owners during their business awards luncheon. She received her award for her work as an administrator within the Turner Broadcasting System and as a broadcaster. Following her remarks, Ms. Jarvis received the federation’s “Woman of Courage” award, and several black women business owners were honored for their entrepreneurial efforts. close
