Holocaust survivors Henry Greenbaum and Emanuel “Manny” Mandel talked about how they were singled out, sent to concentration camps, and eventually liberated. The two survivors were joined by Colonel Edward Shames, who spoke about parachuting into Normandy on D-Day as a member of the 101st Airborne’s “Screaming Eagles.” Colonel Shames also talked about how he witnessed several concentration camps in Germany after they were liberated. close
