Dr. Ben Carson, a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, spoke at the Republican Jewish Coalition Presidential Forum at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Dr. Carson outlined the importance of improving U.S.-Israel relations. He also explained why a strong U.S. economy makes for a strong foreign policy. He called for “safe havens” for Syrian refugees in the Middle East and discussed the threat posed by ISIL.*
