The House approved a bill dealing with lawsuits against the federal government that could result in new regulations and requires the government to give public notice when it begins negotiations in those lawsuits. Members also passed legislation to create a commission that would recommend regulations that should be repealed. They also began work on a bill that would prohibit judges from certifying class-action lawsuits unless each member of the class had the same injury. close
