The Oregon Trail
Rinker Buck talked about his book, The Oregon Trail: A New American Journey, about the importance of the Oregon Trail, the 2,000 mile road that runs through six states from Missouri to the Pacific coast. Mr. Buck and his brother made the journey using a covered wagon and three mules. It took them four months. This was part of the 9th annual Savannah Book Festival. close
