President Obama held a news conference at the conclusion of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Rancho Mirage, California. He talked about some of the agreements reached during the meetings. He addressed questions on filling the vacancy left on the Supreme Court after Justice Antonin Scalia’s death, the 2016 presidential primary contests, the continued conflict in Syria, and ongoing efforts to combat ISIL*.
