At this 1993 meeting of the Empire Club of Cananda Mr.Maurice Strong, Chairman & CEO of Ontario Hydro, the largest business in the province of Ontario, Canada, spoke to a luncheon audience on the environmental issues facing Ontario and Canada, including the balance between energy production and environmental protection. Mr. Strong headed the first international summit on the environment during the 1970's, and headed the U.N. conference on the environment in Rio in 1992. close
