Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson announced that he was “leaving the campaign trail” for the 2016 presidential nomination to an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference. He said that his decision came after he looked at the math and delegate count and realized there was no path to the nomination. During his remarks, he focused on engaging the evangelical vote and bringing more families together.
