George Diaz, author of Border Contraband: A History of Smuggling Across the Rio Grande, and Kimball Taylor, author of The Coyote’s Bicycle: The Untold Story of Seven Thousand Bicycles and the Rise of a Borderland Empire, talked about their books about the U.S.-Mexico border.

“The Things They Carried: The Stories Border Objects Tell” took place at the fourth annual San Antonio Book Festival, held on April 2, 2016, and was filmed in the auditorium of the San Antonio Central Library.
