Panel Discussion on History
“Writing Epic History” was a panel from the 2016 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and took place at the Hancock Foundation building on the campus of the University of Southern California.
Panelists talked about writing about history. Panelists included Jonathan Bryant, author of Dark Places of the Earth: The Voyage of the Slave Ship Antelope; Dan Ephron, author of Killing a King: The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the Remaking of Israel; and Richard Reeves, author of Infamy: The Shocking Story of the Japanese American Internment in World War II. The panel was moderated by Elizabeth Taylor, literary editor for the Chicago Tribune.
