Stephen Hadley was interviewed as part of a day-long Heritage Foundation event on the role of intelligence in national security and counterterrorism efforts. He talked how presidents use intelligence and secret information, and outlined his experiences as national security adviser under President George W. Bush. Mr. Hadley also discussed President Obama’s utilization of intelligence to make policy decisions and offered advice for the next National Security Council staff. close
