Panel Discussion on Diversity and Writing Programs
“Creative Writing Programs and Writers of Color: Current and Future Trends” was part of the 13th National Black Writers Conference, which took place from March 31-April 3, 2016, in New York City, and was sponsored by the Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College.
Panelists talked about diversity and writing programs. Panelists included Donna Hill, author and writing teacher; novelist Bernice McFadden; Meena Alexander, poet and English professor; and Mariahadessa Ekere Tallie, poet and lecturer.
