Regarding President Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland to replace Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court, he said Judge Garland is supremely qualified to sit on the high court. Judges Kavanaugh and Garland serve together on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
