Wag(e)ing War: The Struggle for Equality in the Workplace was one of the second-prize high school west division winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. The video was produced by Kaitlin Menard, Christian Payne, and Alexander Walter, twelfth graders at Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. The local cable provider is Cox Communications.

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. The 2016 theme was “Road to the White House,” with students answering the question, “What issues do you want presidential candidates to discuss?” close
