Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to questions from a live audience and those submitted by text, electronic mail, telephone, and live video during his annual call-in program in Moscow. He addressed U.S.-Russia relations, saying the United States must abandon its “imperial ambitions” and treat Russia as an equal partner. More than three million questions were submitted and the entire event lasted nearly four hours. During this portion of the call-in, President Putin addressed the state of the Russian economy, the Syrian conflict, relations with Turkey and Ukraine, Russia’s doping scandal, and offshore banking. close
