Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary for International Tax Affairs Robert Stack delivered remarks on the effect of changes in foreign tax laws on efforts to change the U.S. tax code and corporate tax rates for U.S. companies. Then a panel of tax policy writers and experts discussed potential changes in U.S. tax laws, and answered questions from members of the audience.

This was the inaugural Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center Donald C. Lubick Symposium, held at the Brookings Institution. There was a brief disruption for a medical emergency. close
