Following a discussion with residents of Flint, Michigan, President Obama spoke at a local high school, Flint Northwestern Preparatory Academy, about the city’s contaminated water pipes crisis. He said the root of the problem was from a “corrosive attitude” of limited government, and reassured residents that the filtered tap water was safe but urged parents to get children checked for lead poisoning.
