NASA Administrator Charles Bolden and inventor and education advocate Dean Kamen talked about the state of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in the U.S. Both stressed the need to teach students the application of science and math in the workplace in technologies such as robotics and satellites. Mr. Bolden in his comments said a technical degree or training gives students the flexibility to do anything they want to do. After answering questions from moderator John Allen, they took questions from audience members. close
