Author, consumer advocate, and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader was among the speakers in a seminar on community organizing and civic mobilization. Speakers, many using audio-visual aids, talked about their personal or organizational struggles to change some aspect of government, regulation, or the law, and ways their own experiences could serve as helpful touchstones to other community leaders.
