The Democratic National Convention Committee’s Platform Drafting Committee held a hearing on what should be included in the party’s platform for the July 2016 convention in Philadelphia. One of the witnesses was former Attorney General Eric Holder, who talked about the need to address issues with the American criminal justice system. Other topics discussed included fighting poverty, immigration policy, and countering Islamophobia.
