Professor Edward Glaeser talked about employment in the U.S. He argued that employment numbers were declining due to a combination of labor market trends and what he called “poisonous” government policies. He also spoke about entrepreneurship and technology, as well as unemployment’s impact on suicide, divorce rates, and drug abuse.
