Senate Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-VA) and House Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) debated their gun control amendments.
Senator Feinstein’s amendment would allow the attorney general to block suspected terrorists on the government’s No Fly list from buying a gun.
Senator Cornyn’s amendment would allow the attorney general to delay gun purchases for up to 72 hours through a court order for those on the government’s No-Fly List.
Both amendments failed to achieve cloture. close
