David Rubenstein talked about the Newseum exhibit “1776 - Breaking News: Independence.” The exhibit features an original July 6, 1776, edition of the Pennsylvania Evening Post, the first newspaper printing of the Declaration of Independence. The artifact was on loan from philanthropist Mr. Rubenstein, who discussed the importance of the document and why colonists wanted to break free from Britain. close
