Attorney General Loretta Lynch condemned the fatal shootings of five Dallas police officers and called on Americans to not let the violence “become the new normal.” She said that the Justice Department, FBI, and ATF were working with state and local authorities to help with the investigation. She ended her remarks by acknowledging people were feeling a sense of helplessness but that the “answer is never violence.” close
