President Obama called the terror attack in Nice, France “sickening.” He stressed America’s strong alliance with France, saying the U.S. stands with the French people during this difficult time. While no terror groups have claimed responsibility for what happened in southern France, the president stressed that together, with U.S. partners, ISIS will be defeated. President Obama’s comments came as he addressed attendees at a diplomatic corps reception held at the White House. close
