Paul Manafort, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign manager, and Republican National Committee officials held a press briefing on the program for the fourth day of the Republican National Convention. Mr. Manafort said the party was “more unified,” even after a speech the previous evening in which Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) refused to endorse Mr. Trump. Mr. Manafort said Senator Cruz was in violation of terms of the pledge to support the Republican nominee. close
