Following opening remarks from Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi, Philip PauliIn and Lauren Appelbaum outlined the challenges voters with disabilities face, in particular participating in rallies, going to the polls and attending fundraising events.

“Voters with Disabilities and the Issues that Matter: From Employment and Empowerment to Criminal Justice and Beyond” was the opening session of RespectAbilityUSA’s forum on steps campaigns, candidates, and elected officials can take to reach out to voters with disabilities in the 2016 elections. RespectAbilityUSA is an advocacy group for the disabled. close
