Dan Ackerman talked about his book The Tetris Effect: The Game that Hypnotized the World, in which he recalls the creation of the video game Tetris by Soviet programmer Alexey Pajitnov. In his book, the author reports on how Pajitnov was able to develop the program using subpar computers and the subsequent international fight to purchase and distribute the game. To date, Tetris has earned nearly $1 billion in sales. close
