With the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks approaching, FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan spoke at a forum on intelligence and national security. Directors Comey and Brennan addressed the recent cyber hack on the Democratic National Committee and the security measures to protect the U.S. election system. In addition, Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lieutenant General Vincent Stewart talked about efforts to combat ISIS*, saying he expects a military operation to retake Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, in the upcoming two to three months. Other speakers included were the directors of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office.
