President Obama, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Joseph Dunford spoke at the 15th anniversary remembrance ceremony at the Pentagon Memorial of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack. The ceremony to honor the 184 people killed hijackers flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon included a wreath laying, moment of silence, and playing of “America the Beautiful” and other music. close
