Don Holloway gave a tour of some of the newly updated exhibits at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum. Mr. Holloway spoke about Gerald Ford’s life after college and how World War II changed his professional trajectory. Mr. Holloway explained how Gerald Ford turned a 25-year career in Congress into a launching pad to the presidency.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2016 LCV Cities Tour” in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from June 23-29 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on Book TV on C-SPAN2. close
