President Obama addressed the United Nations General Assembly for the final time. He called for a “course correction” to solve the world’s most pressing problems and promote global integration. He talked about his foreign policy record over the course of his administration, confronting the mindset of sectarianism and extremism, and tackling the challenges of international peace and security. He told members that the world is too small to simply “build a wall” and world leaders must insist on being honest about the true nature of long-standing conflicts in the Middle East region. close
