Secretary John Kerry on U.S. Trade Policy Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the future of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement. He first paid tribute to the late Shimon Peres who served as Israel’s prime minister and president. In his remarks on TPP, Secretary Kerry said it was “absolutely essential” to secure bonds with Asian countries, as well as build the leadership, credibility, and reputation of the U.S. on a global scale.
