Weisbrod Aircraft Museum
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2016 LCV Cities Tour” in Pueblo, Colorado, from July 10-16 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on Book TV on C-SPAN2.

Ray Sisson talked about Pueblo, Colorado’s contribution to World War II. He gave a tour of the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum, housed at the former Pueblo Army Air Base. From 1942-45, the base served as a training facility for B-24 and B-29 crews before deploying. The museum now houses several World War II era aircraft and artifacts.
