Panelists talked about the ability of graphic narratives to capture and describe events in history and war. Panelists included Hillary Chute, author of Disaster Drawn: Visual Witness, Comics, and Documentary Form, and Sarah Glidden, author of Rolling Blackouts: Dispatches from Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. The discussion was moderated by Alexander Danner, co-author of Comics: A Global History, 1968 to the Present.
