Secretary Victor Mendez, Stephanie Meeks, and others spoke at an event commemorating the completion of construction inside Washington, D.C.'s Union Station. They talked about the history of the train station and the lengthy restoration process. The station opened in 1907 and for the first time in almost 50 years, the former waiting room and Main Hall of Union Station is free of repair and construction work. close
