Conservative religious leaders, social analysts, and military personnel spoke at a rally against removing the ban on homosexuals in the U.S. military held on the Ellipse in front of the White House in Washington, DC. During the rally, the speakers presented social, military, and medical reasons for continuing to ban homosexuals in the U.S. military before an enthusiastic audience. The speakers also opposed a possible compromise in allowing homosexuals to serve in the military as long as they do not reveal their sexual preference. close
