President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence visited a Carrier Corporation manufacturing plant in Indianapolis, to announce a deal to keep nearly 1000 jobs from moving to Mexico. President-elect Trump said companies are not going to leave the U.S. anymore “without consequences” and plans to lower corporate tax rates to 15 percent and cut business regulations. Carrier has previously announced it plans to close a second manufacturing plant in Huntington, Indiana and move hundreds of jobs to Mexico. close
