President-elect Donald Trump briefly appeared in the lobby of Trump Tower, introducing reporters to Masayoshi Son, the founder and CEO of Japanese venture capital firm SoftBank. Mr. Son met with President-elect Trump to discuss his company’s intention to invest $50 billion in the United States, which he said would create about 50,000 jobs. SoftBank is a partner of Foxxconn, the Chinese manufacturer best known for building the Apple iPhone. close
