Retired Navy Admiral James Stavridis spoke to reporters briefly in the lobby of Trump Tower after meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. He said the meeting was “interesting and an informed conversation” on cyber-security and the future of the military, but would not confirm reports that he was on the short list for secretary of state. He joked with reporters saying that when he first heard of the short list, he thought it was for short people. close
