Diana Pardue gave a tour of the Heard Museum’s “Over the Edge: Fred Harvey at the Grand Canyon and in the Great Southwest” exhibit and showed items featured in the museum’s Fred Harvey collection. Mr. Harvey was an entrepreneur that operated restaurants and hotels along the Santa Fe Railway during the late 1800s. The Santa Fe Railway, along with the Fred Harvey Company, created a vision of the Southwest featuring the merits of the American Indian people and cultures.
