British Prime Minister Theresa May gave a statement to members of the House of Commons following her meeting with European leaders in Brussels on the U.K.'s plan to leave the European Union and on the conflict in Syria. She addressed several concerns posed by members over the status of British nationals living in EU countries and whether her government would publish a clear plan on the U.K.'s exit strategy. On Syria, the prime minister told members that the U.N. Security Council unanimously backed a resolution that will allow for the U.N. to monitor civilian evacuations in Aleppo and for humanitarian access to reach the region. close
