Former Obama administration education secretary Arne Duncan participated in a Brookings Institution panel discussion about what to expect from the Trump administration in terms of federal education policy. The panel considered the merits of significant education policy changes since the mid-20th century, and specifically what President Obama’s agenda tried to achieve. They also discussed what they thought should be the goals of President-elect Trump and his nominee for education secretary, Betsy DeVos.

“Federal Education Policy Under the Trump Administration” was the culmination of the Memos to the President on the Future of Education Policy series at the Brookings Institution. close
