Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) called for an ethics investigation into the health care-related stock investments of Representative Tom Price’s (R-GA), President-elect Trump’s nominee for secretary of the Health and Human Services Department. Senator Schumer acknowledged that he did not know whether Representative Price broke the law but stated that there was enough evidence to warrant an investigation before the nomination advances. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), ranking member of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), ranking member of the Finance Committee also outlined their concerns in the news conference. close
