British Prime Minister Theresa May laid out her plans for the U.K. to formally leave the European Union, commonly known as Brexit. She announced that Parliament would have the opportunity to vote on the final Brexit deal and that the U.K. would leave the European single market, allowing the U.K. to have more control over the movement of their goods and services as well as tighter border control. Prime Minister May stressed that the U.K. would not “hold on to bits” of EU membership. close
