The Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee held a hearing for former World Wrestling Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer Linda McMahon, President Trump’s nominee to lead the Small Business Administration. She was introduced by Senator Blumenthal (D-CT). Ms. McMahon told the committee that if confirmed, her first priority would be to look at the state of the programs in place to assist small business owners, such as disaster relief funding. She also talked about more mentoring opportunities for young business owners, access to capital for minority and women business owners, and modernizing and clarifying regulations for new entrepreneurs. close
