The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) met to hear about Chinese investment in the United States. Among the witnesses were representatives from the business, legal and academic communities who discussed the activities of Chinese companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges, how they impact U.S. investors and the regulatory role of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The commission was created by Congress to examine and report on the national security implications of U.S.-China economic activities. close
