Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) talked about the future of the Iran nuclear agreement. He said the president’s order on refugees and immigrants, which placed a temporary travel ban on people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S., would adversely affect the long term success of the agreement. Iran was one of the seven countries included in the ban. He also talked about what he and other Democratic senators planned to do to counter the Trump administration’s actions, and ensure the nuclear agreement remained in place and achieved its goals of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
