Representative Virginia Foxx on College Accreditation
This was the opening plenary speech at the Council for Higher Education Accreditation’s annual conference on “Quality Assurance and Accreditation: Moving Into the Future.”
House Education and the Workforce Committee Chair Virginia Foxx (R-NC) delivered remarks on her priorities for re-authorization of the higher education law. Representative Foxx said a re-authorization bill should include provisions to streamline information for parents and students; simplify students loans; foster innovation and affordability; as well as provide accountability and oversight of higher education institutions.
