Tim Hernandez talked about his book, All They Will Call You, about the impact of a 1948 plane crash in California that killed 32 people, including 28 Mexican migrant workers being deported by the U.S. government. The names of the workers were omitted from media reports and their unidentified remains were buried in an unmarked mass grave in California’s Central Valley. The crash was the basis for activist Woody Guthrie’s protest song, “Plane Wreck at Los Gatos.”
